High Profile launches to scale up outdoor advertising

Start-up agency High Profile could take large format adverts to a new scale, visible from airplanes and satellites.

The company was founded by Anthony Ganjou, the entrepreneur behind CURB Media, which produces outdoor adverts using sustainable materials, including plants, after a successful launch of the Michael Jackson 'Michael' album last year, which involved a record-breaking poster.

The 2,500sqm poster was the largest in history, according to the Guinness World Record, and was installed in a field near to Heathrow. High Profile is sourcing a number of other sites around other major airports, including London City, New York JFK and Paris Charles de Gaulle, as well as near venues of major events.

The adverts can be produced using PVC alternative Bio Media, which naturally degrades within five years, PVC mesh banners, Bio Chalk, natural materials such as pebbles or plants, and even people.

Ganjou said: "High Profile offers an iconic opportunity for brands to not only target air passengers but create massive buzz around the world. It’s advertising on a scale that has never been seen before and it’s also something that makes take off and landing a little bit more interesting for airline passengers."
