Havelock Europa reports growth in revenue

Havelock Europa, the interior and point of sale (POS) group, has announced another year of financial progress and announced further machinery investment plans.

The Fife-based listed company, which owns Showcard Print and Showcard Display, this morning (8 April) reported a pre-tax profit increase of 23% and a revenue increase of 9% from 1 January to 31 December, 2007.

It remains optimistic about the POS market following Showcard Print's purchase of a four-colour KBA Rapida 205 last May.

Havelock Europa finance director Grant Findlay said: "We've seen a lot of positive growth after installing the KBA and are now in the process of researching digital kit with a view to investing later this year."

Havelock Europa operates in the retail, education and point of sale markets. Print accounts for an estimated 20% of the group's income.
