Halstan boss to run Marathon

Halstan Holdings chairman Chris Smith will celebrate his 60th birthday this weekend by running the London marathon - the first time he has run a full marathon.

"I know it's going to really hurt and I will probably need a rub down with The Sporting Life afterwards!" said Smith.

He is running in aid of the Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice and hopes to raise funds to help the hospice develop its 24/7 home nursing care service, which gives patients the choice of being cared for at home. To find out more, visit www.irhh.org

Halstan hit the headlines last summer when it acquired the assets of Pindar's Aylesbury-based map-printing arm, saving 16 jobs.
