The south Wales business has broadened its product offering with the buy Chevler managing director Stuart Whelan called an "exciting move" for the company.
He said: "Combining the new business with Chevler's customer base will allow us to substantially grow our greaseproof range of products and offer the market something genuinely new and highly appealing."
The acquisition, which secures the five-staff workforce at Lovely Packaging, will also see the company remain at its 372sqm Cardiff production facility.
The firm's unique selling point is Ecoluxe, a natural greaseproof paper that can be bespoke printed to produce "attractive, versatile and delightful green packaging," according to Whelan.
"The quality of print surpasses anything we have seen on greaseproof paper before," he said.
Chevler, which employs around 70 staff, produces more than a billion baking cases each year across its two facilities in Hengoed, Wales.
