Antalis widens product portfolio

Antalis is expanding its portfolio by stocking two new product ranges.

The UK paper merchant will be the exclusive stockist for UPM's Raflatac labelstock products, and will also stock the HP Everyday Paper range, after being appointed by OEM supplier International Paper in January.

"Our customers can have peace of mind that they can choose from one of the most comprehensive ranges of products and grades to suit most applications, from quality focused and environmentally responsible suppliers," said Antalis product manager of labelling and synthetics products Danny Khan.

Both paper ranges are PEFC and FSC certified. UPM Raflatac’s use of SP Greentac Plus Adhesive has further underlined its green credentials.

UPM offers a range of filmic grades with permanent and removable adhesives, as well as digital papers and synthetics for high speed laser printing. Antalis said it also services electronic data processing, address and ID labelling purposes, and provides durable synthetic products for industrial and retail labelling requirements.

Antalis product marketing director James Jarvis said: "UPM Raflatac has built up a loyal customer base over the years.  We are confident that by increasing our product range, we will attract new customers."

The brand has been available in the UK for over 18 years, previously sold by Robert Horne. It will now be exclusively sold by Antalis on an ongoing basis.

International Paper's HP Everyday, Office, Printing and Colour Laser ranges, which are used for office printing applications and on both laser and inkjet printers, will also be part of Antalis’ product offering.

"This range perfectly complements our existing office papers offer, giving customers the widest choice in the marketplace," said Jarvis.

The UPM Raflatac and International Paper products are available immediately and will feature in Antalis’ The Reels Easy Reference Guide. The new 16-page booklet provides an introduction to its product offering, and each section presents a product overview and an indication to its suitability for different applications.

Antalis continues to grow its business, having signed with Orafol last month to move beyond wide format graphics and extend into the signage market.
