Shepshed Knight merges with Q3 Print Project Management

Winstonmead will merge its sheet specialist company Shepshed Knight with new purchase Q3 Print Project Management, after buying the latter for an undisclosed sum.

The purchase was completed on 1 July and it is hoped that Shepshed Knight's 13 staff will relocate to Q3 Print Project Management's site, also in Loughborough, by November this year.

Following the merger of the two print management companies, the business will be renamed Winstonmead Print after Shepshed Knight's parent company and will have a total of 30 staff.

There have been no redundancies as a result of the merger, although Keith Campsall, Winstonmead regional sales director, said the company would be reviewing the situation in the future.

Loughborough-based Shepshed Knight was sold to Winstonmead in September last year. Since then, Q3 and Shepshed have enjoyed a "friendly relationship".

Campsall said [about the Q3 purchase]: "Although Q3 specialises in book work, whereas we specialise in sheet, the synergies between the two companies are enormous."
