Vision Paper and Board becomes Tamfold stockist

Paper merchant and convertor Vision Paper and Board, part of the Middleton Paper Group, has started to offer Tamfold, a high-quality packaging grade which is stocked hard-sized and FSC-certified as standard.

Tamfold, which is a part of the Stora Enso group, is used for pharmaceutical, food and chocolate packaging and is suitable for digital printing, laser and inkjet coding and Braille embossing.

There are no added optical brightening agents (OBAs), making it suitable for food service, such as clamshells used for fast food packaging.

Vision Paper and Board commercial director Ian Pentland said: “Stora Enso has been a strategic partner for our group for many years and we are delighted to stock its Tamfold grade. Tamfold has a bulk to grammage ratio better than most rival grades, which enables us to offer huge yield advantages over competitor grades.

“Tamfold deliveries have already started to arrive at our conversion site in the West Midlands. We can service virtually all of our customer needs with a stock holding of both standard sizes and cutter reels for most bespoke requirements.

“This enables us to deliver any quantity, from a packet to a full truck load. It is another element of our recently announced multimillion-pound investment plan which includes new equipment, increased stockholding and a new fleet of vehicles.

Stora Enso UK & Ireland sales manager, merchant & graphical boards Bob Swallow added: “Tamfold is a true all-rounder for packaging when product protection, performance and reliability are paramount. We are very pleased to make it available through the Middleton Paper Group, with the local stock that enables quick deliveries according to customers’ individual material demands.”

As part of the Middleton Paper Group, Vision Paper and Board, supplies the UK market with around 80,000 tonnes of paper per year.
