Renz outlines PrintWeekLive! plans

Punching, binding and laminating equipment manufacturer Renz has revealed the kit it will be bringing to next week’s inaugural PrintWeekLive!.

The firm’s 20sqm stand will be stacked with machines, including the Drupa-launched AP 300 Compact floor-standing automatic punching machine.

This device, which can punch up to 45,000sph, sits between the manufacturer’s high-end desktop DTP 340A semi-automatic punching machine and its heavy-duty AP 360 auto-punch.

Also on show will be the Mobi 500 wire-binder and a selection of desktop machines for coil binding and wire binding including the aforementioned DTP 340A and the ECL 360.

“We think the interest at PrintWeekLive! will be in this mid-range sort of machinery,” said Renz UK sales manager for professional machines Dermot Callaghan.

“These machines are tried and tested and we think we’ll do well with them at the show.”

He added: “I think it’s important to be part of a new print show on UK soil. We should be driving the shows. We have a responsibility to the industry and to the customers to be at these events and to have good things to talk about to them.

“We know customers that are coming but we’re also looking forward to meeting new customers and telling them how easy it is to bring wire binding in-house, with a modern machine.”

PrintWeekLive! will take place at the Wasps Arena, Coventry, on 8 and 9 March.
