Print Efficiently 2014 dates announced

Organisers of Print Efficiently have announced that the 2014 event will take place at Apex Digital Graphics in Hemel Hempstead on 7-9 and 21-23 October.

The event, which is now in its fourth year, aims to demonstrate how equipment from front-end, litho, digital and finishing manufacturers can work in harmony, and to provide an educational forum to offer new ideas to printers regarding efficiency and profitability.

Apex Digital and IFS, two of last year’s core partners, have central roles again this year.

“Print Efficiently is a non-profit-making event run by the suppliers for the suppliers and their customers. It is held in a working showroom with real jobs and real print environment conditions,” said IFS managing director Bryan Godwyn.

“Last year we lost focus a little on making sure the visitor knew what was happening – how to bring files in, test jobs and just as importantly feel relaxed and have space.

“We are changing the layout of the show and walk-through areas this year so it will be much easier for visitors to navigate their way around the event.”

The three previous events have seen more than 140 companies and over 200 visitors attend and organisers are targeting a similar turn-out this year.

“While we focus on quality, not quantity, we have been pleased on both counts. All of the suppliers have taken orders from this show but probably more importantly for the visitors, we can show solutions to genuine issues,” said Godwyn.

There will be a number of product launches at the event and seminars that will offer practical and unbiased business advice.

“Horizon will be showing three key new products in terms of folding, die-cutting and booklet making for the first time in the UK,” said Godwyn.

Print Efficiently 2013 featured products from over 30 manufacturers. Companies that have confirmed for this year’s event include Ryobi, Renz, Konica Minolta, KAS Paper Systems, Foliant, Petratto, Perfecta, Mitsubishi, VPress, PDC, Shuttleworth and Meler.
