Minuteman marketing director Wise elected Fellow at Institute of Marketing

Minuteman Press Bristol marketing director Peter Wise has been elected a Fellow of the Institute by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

It is the highest grade at the Institute and is awarded to individuals with a strong marketing background who have held senior marketing roles for a significant period of time.

He has a marketing background spanning almost 20 years, as well as a number of marketing qualifications, including a master of arts in marketing from Lincoln University.

Wise said: "I am delighted to receive such exciting news and look forward to working closely with the Institute and becoming actively involved in its work. The promotion of understanding of marketing is a key priority and in particular best practice."

As part of his role, Wise will mentor students as well as representing the institute in the media.

According to Wise, his election will help Minuteman, as it will raise the business's profile.

He said: "At regional meetings and conferences, and mentoring, we will meet more potential clients.

"A Fellowship is for life, but it does not mean complacency. Instead it represents the commencement of primary research in social marketing, the results of which will be presented in published research and conferences."
