ISL launches 'My Fish Food' templates for Catfish

Infigo Software (ISL) has launched My Fish Food, a centralised resource of templates and SEO services for users of its Catfish web-to-print platform.

My Fish Food enables Catfish users to access a collection of pre-designed Adobe-based templates for photobooks, calendars, posters, yearbooks, stationery, websites and image personalisation.

The Business Stationery library, which features several thousand designs for items including letterheads and complement slips, is the first to be launched. Other template collections will be introduced in the coming months.

“Clients have been asking us for new templates so we looked at a couple of options and My Fish Food formed itself as a service. It gives clients access to a host of new designs and the ability to target their markets much faster,” said managing director Douglas Gibson.

The SEO services offer a range of bolt-on capabilities that make it easier for end-users to find a printer’s Catfish storefront.

“Our clients need to drive traffic to their web-to-print sites to secure orders and with our SEO services we can give them the best sort of information to go about doing that,” said Gibson.

The firm has also invited art and graphic design students to submit their designs for use on Catfish. In return, they will receive a commission on a per usage basis when their design is purchased through the Catfish Storefront.

“A couple of colleges have allowed students to submit their designs and we’ll add them to the template library. It encourages interest in print and gives something back to students whose designs are purchased,” said Gibson.

Catfish, a full cloud-based platform that gives marketing, print and retail organisations an overnight online presence, is now being used by over 100 print businesses in the UK. ISL is aiming to bring another 35-40 clients on board over the next 12 months.
