Innotech appointed DGcal stockist

Innotech Digital has taken on DGcal's vinyl range for distribution in the UK and Ireland.

The partnership was formally announced in early October at the SignLink Live expo, where Innotech showcased a number of DGcal products, and the products are available now from the stockist.

Based in the East Midlands, Innotech was attracted to the DGcal partnership due to its products’ low shrinkage rate on application, UV resistance and water-based adhesive technology. Among the new products are a number of Air Escape Vinyls, which feature 'air egress technology', allowing easy air flow when gently rubbing the film. The vinyls do not require excessive pressure on the film during application, reducing time and application costs.

Manufacturing face films and vinyls for the past decade, DGcal has also laid out a plan for expansion, which will involve the release of a range of new lines, including high-tack and low-tack options, floor laminates and floor graphic vinyls over the next 12 months. As its UK master reseller, Innotech will drive DGcal's UK growth plans.

“We are looking to provide DGcal’s wares to a fairly broad sector of customers,” said Innotech marketing manager Kieran Dallow.

“With this deal our aim is to provide high-quality materials to people who have wanted them for some time but were unable to afford them.

“DGcal is still an emergent name in vinyls so is able to provide this high-end output at a more affordable price. It has made the market much more accessible to the consumer.

“Customers can be confident that they are buying from a tried and trusted source. Our sales teams will be actively promoting the DGcal range across the UK and will deliver swatch books and samples during face to face visits to show the full range.”

Innotech’s team of more than 40 staff operates from a 3900sqm warehouse in Bardon Hill, Leicestershire, which houses approximately 50,000 roller banners at any one time and has a stock spanning 1.4 million sqm, according to Dallow.

The company supplies a range of display graphics hardware, reselling products from Kinetix Magnetic Media, Vistaflex and Imagetech, and last month it launched a new budget roller banner
