Go Inspire has invested in a raft of new, additional enclosing equipment in a £2m spend to support its growth trajectory and develop both transactional and marketing communications services for its clients.

The Leicester-headquartered business installed a Bowe Fusion Speed last month, the first inserting machine of its kind in the UK, which will allow the company to enclose a further 30,000 envelopes per hour.

A new Mail Consolidator will be operational at the company by the end of 2021 and this will be followed by the installation of a Bowe Fusion Cross in January 2022, joining two existing Fusion Cross machines installed in 2019 and adding a further 24,000 packs per hour to Go Inspire’s enclosing firepower.

Go Inspire Solutions managing director Nick Cole said: “We’re delighted to be seeing consistent growth at Go Inspire but we want to be sure that we can reliably deliver for all of our clients, and keep up with the pace of their requirements.

“With this investment, we’re well placed to support our existing and new clients with their direct market and transactional communications needs, across a wide range of formats and enclosures.

“Transactional communications need to be intelligent, accurate and timely to get the message across, but also offer our clients efficiencies and economies.

“In addition, direct mail remains an excellent marketing channel and performs exceptionally well compared to other channels in generating incremental revenue for our clients. It’s a must for every marketer and we’re pleased to have increased our capacity in this area.”

Go Inspire has invested nearly £4m this year, with £2m dedicated to boosting its enclosing capacity.

The group recently enhanced its sustainability credentials with two new initiatives, including a silver rating with EcoVadis. It also extended its World Land Trust Carbon Balanced Printer status to include Go Inspire Solutions.

Earlier this year TalkTalk renewed its contract with the group for a further four years until 2025. The business, which also recently won a multimillion pound deal with BTappointed Jonathan Harman as non-executive director in April to support its goal of becoming a “true marketing performance partner”.

Go Inspire Group is at number 40 in Printweek’s annual Top 500 survey with sales of nearly £71.5m.
