Enfocus shows off PitStop V13 at Fespa

Enfocus (6-P80) is demonstrating its new PitStop 13 software, which was commercially launched last month following successful beta testing, at Fespa.

This release aims to resolve the most problematic PDF quality challenges faced by printers and is designed to address common mistakes. For example, the new ‘Add Bleed’ function gives users a way to create bleed as required.

Senior product manager Andrew Bailes-Collins said: “With this new feature, if the bleed is available but it’s been hidden, it will expose it. If the bleed is not there it will use a mirror technique to generate enough.”

Another addition, ‘Preflight Restrictions’, gives users endless options for customising the checks and fixes included in a preflight profile.

According to Enfocus, creating a more targeted preflight check means users will spend less time managing irrelevant warnings and errors.

The software is available with a license for €699 or on a subscription basis for €300 on an annual contract or €30 per month on a monthly contract.
