Balreed, Infigo Software, Lumejet, Paperlinx, Renz and Vivid will join the company at its new regional event, which will be held at The Lowry in Manchester’s Salford Quays on 10-11 March 2015.

Duplo said the event would offer solutions for developing new and existing revenue streams and creating added-value products, and provide ideas for increasing workflow efficiencies and reducing bottlenecks within current processes.

Registrations have now opened for the event, which will start at 10am each day. It will remain open until 9pm on day one to provide customers with opportunities to continue discussions and network into the evening.

The second day, which will close at 5pm, will include an ‘operator focus’ with forums during the day and additional hands-on demonstrations and advice. Show focuses were determined by consultation with clients at Duplo’s customer forum earlier this month.

“Getting different customers in the room to brainstorm and discuss ideas does shape the event. The feedback was that they wanted more of an operator focus and that the longer opening hours of the event would be really useful for them,” said Duplo UK marketing manager Sarah Crumpler.

“There was a lot more focus on moving away from wanting to see the latest technologies to wanting to know how they could get more out of their current workflows and the technologies they’ve already got to fix bottlenecks.”

A variety of applications will be shown at the event and software, print and finishing systems will demonstrate cross-media marketing, web-to-print and on-demand personalisation services.

“Our customers are delighted that we are bringing a show northwards, which is another example of our innovative approach and customer care where we are increasing support through training, service and marketing initiatives,” said Crumpler.

“Our business is driven by the feedback that we receive from our customers and our events are no different. There is already a lot of excitement around the inaugural Northern Lights.”
