Domino marketing director passes away

Domino’s global marketing director Paul Doody has passed away, aged 50.

Doody died on 11 January 2017.

Doody had a distinguished career in the field, having taken up the role of global marketing director with Domino Printing Sciences in March last year.

After attaining a degree in materials technology from Coventry University in 1990, Doody began his career working in project management at Unilever, playing an active role in the development of several European projects.

He moved to Linx Printing Technologies in 1998 and remained there for the following 16 years, accruing a number of key marketing responsibilities during his tenure as global marketing director. During this time, he also obtained a PhD as well as an MBA from the Henley Business School.

Domino group product director David Bywater said: “Although only with Domino for a year, Paul made a huge impact on our business both at a personal and a professional level. We will all miss him as a friend, a colleague and a true marketing professional.”

A memorial service was held in Doody's honour in Cambridge on 25 January.
