DecoNetwork has rolled out the latest update of its flagship software that enables DTG printers to streamline their business operations into one platform.

Released last month, Version 8.505 follows the July release of Version 8.504, which added a number of enhancements to the platform that was originally released late last year.

The latest update, which is available free of charge to existing users of DecoNetwork 8.5, adds more new features plus other improvements and bug fixes. In total, the company said 257 tasks were completed with this release.

A new lazy loading optimisation technique has been implemented where small placeholder images are referenced while high-resolution images will be loaded in the background to boost webpage loading times.

Another new feature allows campaign sites to access domain settings to link a domain name, while the ability to change the brand on system catalogue products has also been added.

In terms of improvements, a new email indicator now shows if the user has opened and read an email, while enhancements made to the web editor mean many more elements within pages can now be renamed.

DecoNetwork UK & Europe sales manager Michal Gembrowicz told Printweek: ''The DecoNetwork UK team have been flat out demoing the new exciting features to new clients. The garment decorators are transitioning very well to online as online is now 'the new normal' and a way to continue to trade successfully.”
