Bobst premieres eight new printing and converting kits

Bobst (Hall 10, A60) has used drupa to launch a raft of new print and finishing kit and services, which it claims, will help packaging and label manufacturers take production to another level.

The company unveiled a new die-cutter, the Mastercut 106 PER, and a new folder-gluer, the Masterfold 110 A3.

Bobst chief executive Jean-Pascal Bobst said: “Our focus is on new, quality printing and converting capabilities, a way of showing brand owners, packaging designers, carton makers and label manufacturers what the future could hold for them.”

Other launches included the M6 UV flexo press, two of which have already been installed at unnamed locations, the CL 750D compact laminator, and the MW85F and MW 125F CI flexo presses.

As well as running demonstrations on the new equipment, the company is also using drupa to demonstrate a range of new software products including Impact CAD, Pick&Pay, MyBobst.com and Service Navigator.
