ATPColor launches digital fabric printers

ATPColor has launched a range of direct-to-fabric digital printers, available in the UK through Atech.

The roll-to-roll DFP range features a high capacity bulk ink system for efficient long run production and can print directly on to coated and uncoated polyester fabrics, including open mesh material such as flag fabrics.

Also included is a media handling unit with two precision stepper motors and synchronised dancer rollers that automatically fine tune the incoming substrate helping to ensure accurate printing.

A new inline cutting system uses cold knife cutting to enable the process to be paused without causing defects in the fabric.

The 188cm- and 264cm-wide machines include an on-board sublimation unit that does not increase the footprint of the printers.
