Berth partners Kapoor Imaging for Indian distribution
Kapoor Imaging has announced an exclusive partnership with Berth - a Germany-based manufacturer of punch and benders to the offset market - to sell its products exclusively in the India markets.
Christoph Theilmann, managing director of Berth, and Sunil Kapoor, managing director of Chennai-based Kapoor Imaging, agreed the deal at Drupa 2008.
Berth's product range includes optical punch benders, multiple-format bending machines, benders with shearing machines to trim plates to size and benders for metal back blankets.
Kapoor Imaging's Giri Santhanam said: "We deal with leading brands like Fuji, Kinyo and Triangle, and a relationship with Berth would enable us to offer complete pre-press solutions to our customers."
