St Ives gets MDT contract

St Ives Web, the magazine printing division of St Ives, has won the contract to produce Medical Device Technology (MDT), a title previously printed in the US and mailed to European readers.

The US publisher has moved the title’s production to St Ives Web’s Roach plant. The facility houses equipment including a MAN Roland Lithoman press.

Published 10 times a year, Medical Device Technology has a circulation of 18,000. It is aimed at European medical product designers and manufacturing, regulatory and management staff.

While the editorial and printing of MDT magazine is handled in the UK, each magazine is put together, proofed and approved from the US.

Tony Ayles, sales director, St Ives Web said: “In this fiercely competitive market, we are increasingly winning business from overseas publishers seeking a more local, trusted, supplier with the capability to cut costs and better service customers.”
