Xerox reseller Xeretec has increased its national presence after opening a new London site.
The new facility, which was opened earlier this month, is located at Beaufort House, St Botolph Street, the same area as the Leadenhall building and the 'Gherkin'. Xeretec said the venture would enable it to better serve the print needs of the capital.
Xerox Corporation chairman and chief executive Ursula Burns attended the opening along with Xerox European Channels Group president Diego Hervas.
“The opening of Xeretec’s new London offices is a sign of its continuing growth. It means that Xeretec will now bring all the benefits of Xerox’s industry-leading technology and managed print services to the heart of the City of London,” said Hervas.
Xeretec managing director Steve Hawkins added: “Business is booming in London thanks to an economy that’s in recovery mode as well as increasing overseas investment, helping it retain its place as a central hub for many national and international businesses.
“In the age of the internet-connected digital economy, getting documents into and out of the electronic world is a critical issue for many. Therefore, printers and multi-function devices remain an essential part of knowledge capture and knowledge distribution within those companies.
“Having a presence in EC3 ensures Xeretec is better able to serve the needs of London’s established businesses as well as the many exciting start ups that are now flourishing in and around the capital.”
Xeretec is Xerox’s largest reseller in west Europe. It serves organisations ranging from large corporate offices to commercial printers nationwide, advising them on print management, improved document security, tighter cost control and enhanced productivity.
