Suprasetter buy ups HSW output
HSW Print is anticipating a near three-fold increase in its plate output capacity after investing in a Heidelberg Suprasetter 105.
The platesetter is to replace an existing Topsetter and will supplement the company’s press battery, which includes a new Speedmaster SM 102-2P perfector.
The Suprasetter 105 will feed three Speedmaster presses, a 10-, five- and two-colour, outputting 33 plates an hour compared with the Tonypandy-based company’s previous Topsetter.
The 80-staff printer has also opted for three new Heidelberg folders, two buckle machines and a combination model, which HSW anticipates will open the door for a full JDF workflow through to the finishing area within the next two years.
