Brookdale stops cracking with Duplo kit

Commercial printer Brookdale Printing Co has said that its new Duplo DC445 DuCreaser has eradicated its cracking problem.

Commercial printer Brookdale Printing Co has said that its new Duplo DC445 DuCreaser has eradicated its cracking problem.

The Neston-based company bought the machine from Duplo dealer Rovert Equipment Company.

Brookdale moved into digital at the beginning of the year, and managing director Dave Powell said that it has enabled the company to move into areas it could never dream of in the past.

He said: "Our capacity is now up and the problem of cracking has been completely eradicated. Our turnaround is now much faster and the machine is automated, so I can leave it on and get on with something else."

Powell started Brookdale 11 years ago and has run the company single-handedly ever since. He prints for companies in the Wirral area, producing mostly letterheads and small leaflets.

But the move into digital has now seen the company producing up to 24pp A4 booklets.
