Packaging Printer of the Year: St Ives Direct Crayford
Packaging Printer of the Year – Winner: St Ives Direct Crayford
Wednesday, 22 October 2008
St Ives Direct Crayford beat off stiff competition in this category to claim top prize in the packaging category.
According to the judges, Crayford demonstrated the holy trinity of print, packaging and client brief all coming together to create a truly original and outstanding finished piece. Never let it be said that the PrintWeek judges lack a sense of humour, as they were particularly taken with the printer’s Monty Python box set, complete with inflatable dead parrot. One judge said: “That was an incredibly impressive range of submissions – in each instance the packaging was truly innovative and the quality of the printing and finishing was outstanding, with clear care and consideration shown for all aspects of the projects.”
