Innovative Printer of the Year: Harlequin Display
Innovative Printer of the Year - Winner: Harlequin Display
Wednesday, 22 October 2008
One judge summed up the Graf Materials Sample Box, the deserved winner in this category, with the words "this entry rocks!".
The box started out as an exercise to show existing and prospective customers what can be achieved using a wide-format digital press. Only 100 copies of the sample box, which is filled with more than 60 different substrates printed with an array of visually stimulating images, were produced by the Hatfield-based company, which called on the creative skills of its sister firm, Harlequin Design, to woo clients – and our judges. The printer counts a number of the world’s leading retail operators as customers and thanks to the high standard of print quality and creativity that went into the production of its entry it’s easy to see why.
