SME Company of the Year: Lick Group
SME company of the year – winner: Lick Group
Tuesday, 21 October 2008
Leeds-based Lick Group heralds its entry to the SME Company of the Year Award by taking home the crown.
The direct mail house and printer was established six years ago and has been rapidly growing ever since, driven by the ambition of managing director Linden Kitson. Flying in the face of the challenging market, the group has boosted its turnover by 40% over the past 12 months and now has annual sales of £3.7m. It is chasing a target of £5m, which few would bet against it achieving. The company has invested more than £100,000 in new equipment this year and is looking forward to the move into its new purpose-built factory, which will house the burgeoning company for the next stage of its growth.
