Finishing kit manufacturer Caslon is showcasing its latest card-cutting development.

The updated Zip 21 is now capable of producing 24 85x55mm cards in a single pass. Previously, as the name suggests, it was able to produce 21.

The cutter has been designed for the short- to medium-run print market and can take sheets up to SRA3 format. Caslon said the machine could cut business cards, and other multiple products produced from a range of different printing methods, at around 10,000 cards per hour.
