Fujifilm India hosts open house event for potential CTP users

Fujifilm India, in cooperation with Fujifilm Japan and FFEI UK, has hosted a nationwide open house targeted at users considering CTP technology.

The company appointed dealers such as Malhotra Graphics for the Western region, Kapoor Imaging for the South and Eastern region and Kohli Graphic Systems for the Northern region.

The seminar, which was held in July in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai, was attended by management staff from Fujifilm Japan and India, and FFEI UK.

It discussed trends at Drupa, including violet technology, inkjet technology, chemical-free violet plates and processless thermal plates.

During the seminar, Fujifilm announced the opening of its offices in Mumbai and Chennai and used the opportunity to introduce its new JetPress 720.

The company also revealed it will launch its Brillia HD PRO-V – a high-definition chemistry-free violet CTP plate with extended run lengths – in India in January 2009. The plate is FM capable and has the ability to print with UV inks.
