M Partners, the UK's GUK and Steinemann distributor, has become ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accredited as it increases its focus on the pharmaceutical sector.

Based in Hackbridge, Surrey, M Partners joint managing director Murray Lock said it is especially important to achieve both standards with regards to the company's work within the pharmaceutical sector.

He said: "The quality management standard ISO 9001 announces to the rest of the world that we follow certain procedures, and have a focus on customer care and customer service.

"Such certifications are important both to print production centres and their customers. And for us, this is also a sector that we believe has considerable growth potential."
