McKesson UK has bought a brace of duplex InfoPrint 4100 continuous forms production printers to handle the work it carries out for National Health Service (NHS) payroll.

The company prints 1.2m payroll slips each month, the equivalent of 3m pages, for NHS employees in England and Wales.

The deal also includes InfoPrint Workflow and InfoPrint Manager software.

Charmaine McDonald, managing director of McKesson UK, said: "An important factor in our decision was that InfoPrint technology offered the full integ­­rity, security, auditability and disaster recovery service that the NHS demanded for this high-profile solution."
