Roland unveils VersaArt wide-format printer

Roland DG has revealed its latest wide-format printer, the 64in VersaArt RS-640, which is designed to produce posters and outdoor signage.

The four-colour machine employs eco-solvent inkjet technology and comes complete with VersaWorks professional RIP software.

The VersaArt RS-640 incorporates Roland Intelligent Pass Control and can output on a range of paper media and fabrics. It offers print speeds of up to 21.4sqm an hour and supports banner media weights up to 470gsm, the company said.

Brett Newman, head of product management at Roland DG (UK), said: "The VersaArt delivers the exceptional productivity and print quality required for successful in-house production, eliminating the need to outsource wide-format graphics."
