Screen adds PlateRite FX1254 to flexo platesetter range

Screen has expanded its range of flexo platesetters with the addition of the new PlateRite FX1524.

The 1076x1524mm machine can output flexo and letterpress digital plates, as well as thermal ablation film.

It has been designed for flexo applications including labels, flexible packaging, corrugated, carton and security printing.

The PlateRite FX1524, which is compatible with plates from TOK, DuPont, Flint Group, Toray, MacDermid and Asahi, can image at resolutions of 2,400dpi or 2540dpi.

It also features an easy-loading system and works with packaging workflow PackStudio SE.

The software is based upon EskoArtwork's ArtPro system, and is integrated into Screen's established Trueflow workflow.
