Equipment maintenance provider Continua has appointed Brian Cuddy as its managing director.

Cuddy, who joins from Xerox where he was order to cash manager for Xerox UK and Ireland, said Continua was "ideally positioned" to capitalise on the current financial situation in which companies are seeking alternatives to their existing support.

He added: "I am looking forward to joining Continua and helping the company further enhance its business as the UK's only multi-vendor service provider covering digital print, mailing and paper handling equipment.

"Continua's revenue has increased by 27% in the last year and I believe this growth is a direct result of Continua's ability to offer bespoke maintenance and services that help to reduce costs and simplify the print-to-post management process."
