Superfos repeats deal with FDL

FDL Packaging Group has renewed its agreement with Danish packaging specialist Superfos to distribute its industrial and consumer packaging ranges for another five years.

St Helens-based FDL is the only official UK distributor of Superfos products.

The Superfos range includes injection-moulded plastic packaging, for the food and non-food manufacturing industries, suitable for a wide range of products including pet food, salad, sauce, hair care and paint products.

FDL has held an official distribution agreement with Superfos since 2004 and prior to that it had an informal distribution arrangement.

FDL managing director Stephen Cunniffe said the wide range of products, aimed at different sectors, allows the company to "fulfil the bulk packaging needs of industrial customers".

Cunniffe added that the range also means FDL can "provide through-the-line product containment solutions with a range of high quality consumer-facing products".
