EFI has appointed UK-based Colourgen as a master distributor for its Validation range of proofing media.

The range, which is certified by Fogra and SWOP, can produce an accurate colour match to any target and maintain colour consistency over time.

Melanie Enser, product marketing manager for Colourgen, said: "As a master distributor, we will be offering the complete range of products to our customers, as well as providing full support packages."

EFI proofing paper spans all relevant paper types, such as PT1, PT2, PT3, S1 and S2, which allows for simulation in offset and rotogravure printing.

The company also has special paper for newspaper print reproduction.
