HenDi acquires Alden Group
Alden Group, the 175-year-old book and journal printer, has been acquired by HenDi Group for an undisclosed sum.
John Pulford, HenDi Group chief executive and chairman of PrintLondon, said he was delighted to be merging HenDi with a company of Alden’s heritage.
“Combining the firms’ litho and digital operations will enable the merged company to offer faster turnaround times to commercial and financial services clients,” he said.
HenDi plans to move production of its large volume perfect binding and mailing to Alden’s Witney site.
William Alden, former chairman of Alden Group, will remain as a non-executive director of the new company, which will trade as Alden HenDi.
HenDi has three proprietary print ordering and tracking systems being used by investment banks.
