Formpro bounces back from brink with 20 new staff
Direct mail company Formpro Mail Marketing has continued its return to form with a successful recruitment drive to increase its permanent workforce.
The Bristol-based business faced a difficult 2007, which ended on a high note when its original founders, the Hughes family, invested £2.75m in December.
Several managers had left the company earlier in the year and around 280 jobs were considered to be at risk.
However, the recruitment drive has brought in 20 new employees, who will be split between the main Bristol site and the company's second facility in Swindon.
Chairman Mike Hughes said: "Being able to recruit these new members of staff bears testament to the robust business model we have in place and it's a great asset to invest in highly qualified staff who can really help us move the business forward."
Formpro has also invested £1m in two new Buhrs 400 polywrapping lines.
