Gandinnova-tions is to launch its latest grand-format UV digital printer, the NanoJet UV True Flatbed, at next week’s Drupa.

The company is pitching the machine at clients producing photo-realistic output on a variety of substrates.

The NanoJet is equipped with a silicon nozzle plate and uses 24 Spectra high-performance printheads, a 15-picolitre head designed to deliver high-resolution droplets.

The digital press can output at speeds of up to 20.4m2 an hour coupled with a maximum print area of 1.2x2.4m. The machine can also print six-colour at resolutions of 800dpi.

The NanoJet also features a vacuum table, claimed to hold most materials up to 50mm in thick in place.
