New MD takes helm at B&P Graphic Systems

B&P Graphic Systems has appointed Andrew Wilson as its new managing director.

In the new position, Wilson said he plans to "concentrate on what we (B&P) do best", and to build on the company's levels of customer support.

Wilson, who has been with B&P for more than 10 years, takes over the role from David Burton, who moves to Fujifilm Sericol as European sales director.

"Our strong relationships with manufacturers such as Agfa and Mutoh give B&P a very strong advantage with entry-level and mid-range systems, which use UV-curable and solvent-based ink technologies," Wilson said.

He added: "We plan to boost the potential available with digital textiles, a market sector that is growing in the UK."

Wilson began at the company in sales and also held the role of sales director before becoming managing director. Prior to joining B&P, he worked for engraving specialist Gravograph.

He said: "After 10 years spent wholly in a sales environment, I'm excited about the prospect of being in a general management role which encompasses all that B&P Graphic Systems offers."
