One of Stehlin Hostag’s big-hitting products, Inkredible, represents a huge step forward for the company.

The ink/water stability brings the ink to colour very quickly during the start of a run after wash-ups. But it’s on the environmental front that Inkredible really raises the stakes. It uses a higher proportion of vegetable oils than the standard ranges and is less prone to inconsistencies in colour intensity. Three years was spent on developing Inkredible, which was launched in September 2007. Despite costing around 4% more than the company’s standard range, Stehlin Hostag argues that in the long term, printers will make very real costs savings through reduced waste, improved quality and faster running speeds.
