XChange adds Adobe referencing plug-in
XChange International has released a new plug-in for Adobe InDesign and InCopy that responds to "every referencing need".
The Cross-References tool, which is inspired by a similar feature in Adobe FrameMaker, creates hyperlinks for electronic output. Formats can be defined to automatically use the language of surrounding text.
The £74 plug-in provides a panel with markers and references list and easy access to page references.
Other features include references that can be made to pre-made source markers, or to any text searchable in style filtered lists. In addition, references can be converted to text.
The plug-in comes with pre-defined formats, while user-defined formats can be added using easy UI or XML code.
Cross-References is available now for Mac and Windows.
