VarioPrint 6250 wins EDPA award
The European Digital Press Association (EDPA) has named Océ’s duplex VarioPrint 6250 press as its product of the year for 2007.
The award was presented at an awards ceremony during Fespa earlier this month.

I'm amazed that you could give 'product of the year' to a digital output device that uses this type of fusing process.
As anyone in the industry should know, copypress is liable to toner stripping/scoring in finishing devices. Don't believe me, then run the back of your fingernails across a half-tone...
What is more, when one engine isn't working, the whole thing is defunct.
How does that protect an organisation with productivyt issues? 250 A4 duplex IPM to 0A4 dulpex images? Hmm!
