South American govts seek rapprochement over Finish firm's mill
Representatives of the Argentine and Uruguayan presidents have sought a rapprochement over the conflict caused by the building of a paper mill on the Uruguayan side of the River Uruguay.
According to reports, the mill, which is being constructed by Finnish company Botnia in Fray Bentos, western Uruguay, is forming a frontier between the two countries.
The mill is scheduled to open in the third quarter of this year.
