Ricoh to buy Hitachi Printing Solutions
Ricoh has made a bid for the print-on-demand market with an agreement to acquire 100% of Hitachi Printing Solutions.
Ricoh gains high-speed printers for the print-on-demand market and low-end colour laser printers as well as an enhanced sales channel under the deal.
Hitachi Printing Solutions had sales of £312m (yen60bn) and has 820 staff.
