Nustream adds Proofstream and Nuflow leasing options

Proofstream version 8.0 is the latest iteration from Canadian soft-proofing developer and supplier Nustream Graphic.

The new version features an archive and restore function that enables users to either store or retrieve a job with a single mouse click.

The software's soft-proofing tool adds a new toggle switch that allows users to select a black screen background to minimise monitor glare. In addition, the main interface has been upgraded to a simple dropdown menu.

New ownership options include the ability to invest in the Proofstream and Nuflow software in different ways.

ASP Cloud includes full access to the extended functionality of the software via a cloud-based server for a monthly fee starting at £140 per calendar month.

Also available is a three-year contract lease that Nustream Europe claims will minimise capital expenditure.

This plan includes installation, training, full warranty, remote support and all the functionality of the Enterprise version of the developer's Proofstream software for a £595 monthly charge.

Other configurations of the software include the Lite, Standard, Pro and flagship Enterprise model that is claimed to offer maximum productivity for high volume users.

Nustream Europe director Steve Edwards said existing customers could upgrade to the latest version of the software remotely with pricing depending on their service package.
