Southernprint scores another coup with Egmont

The Wyndeham Group subsidiary has signed a deal with Egmont Publishing Group after it won the contract to produce new Disney Pixar magazine, Brave.
It is the latest deal for Southernprint after the Dorset-based company signed a deal with Egmont in July to produce girls' magazine Hello Kitty.
The latest title, Brave, is aimed to tie in with the Disney Pixar animation of the same name. Launched on 8 August with an initial print run of 100,00, the monthly magazine is aimed at girls aged four to eight.
The 32pp four-colour magazine, which will retail at £2.99, is printed on 80gsm Norcote Super with the first issue featuring an extra eight-page pull-out colouring section printed on 90gsm UPM Fine.
The first three editions will also carry covermounts including a dress-up set based on the magazine’s main character, Merida.
Egmont’s director of magazines Debbie Cook said: "We are delighted to be extending our collaboration with Disney and bringing this new magazine to market. The film is fantastic and we are confident our content will deliver fun stories, games, dress-up and play value, extending the brand experience for fans."
