Vehicle cover manufacturer Structure-flex has invested in the newly-launched Durst Rho 320 HS large-format printer.
The Norfolk-based business unveiled the new machine at a ceremony on 3 August attended by North Norfolk MP and business minister, Norman Lamb.
Its new machine enables the firm, which counts Greene King, Irn-Bru and Skinner's Pet Foods among its clients, to print six-colour at 600dpi.
The 3.2m-wide printer offers output speeds of up to 170sqm an hour in high-speed mode and handles a range of substrates that include paper, plastic film, vinyl, PVC, polyester fabric and self-adhesive film.
Structure-flex general manager Paul Reeve said: "Throughout the company's 40-year history, we have invested constantly in the latest technology to maintain our competitive advantage and this latest printing facility is part of that on-going programme."
The Durst Rho 320 HS will automate much of the company's vehicle cover printing that would have previously required a greater level of human intervention.
"The new Durst model we have commissioned is a very advanced piece of equipment. It offers unrivalled print technologies and state of the art application techniques that give a faster, better-defined image that will appeal to marketing and design agencies looking to create an amazing visual impact."
