RCS is to install the UK's first Scodix 1200 UV Digital Embossing Press
RCS's embossing press will enhance offering

Trade printer RCS will be offering its customers an edge on their rivals when it installs the UK's first Scodix 1200 UV Digital Embossing Press from supplier image2output.
According to the company, the machine, which is only the fourth of its kind in the world, will enable it to enhance its existing product range with a host of value-added finishes.
It will be installed this November, with RCS offering its services in January 2011.
The 100-staff Retford-based company offers its services to a network of resellers throughout the UK.
According to managing director Michael Todd, customers are being "beaten up on price" and need unique products to make money.
"It is very important for us to give them an angle," he said. "If they are selling business cards, they are going up against a lot of people and printers only seem to know one way of competing: price.
"Printers are killing themselves, so we asked ourselves ‘can we be doing something cleverer than reducing price?’"
