Noritsu unveils minilab printer

Noritsu has unveiled the D502, its new minilab printer designed for photo retailers producing photobooks, calendars and greetings cards.

The machine, which was showcased at Photokina last month, is being aimed at print shops and greetings cards suppliers wanting to tap into the personalised photo product market.

Alison Hughes, marketing executive of Noritsu UK, said: "Being able to offer a wealth of new services will attract new customers and make it possible to upsell to existing customers."

The machine can print at resolutions up to 720dpi and on paper widths up to 254mm. It also offers both single-sided and duplex printing.

The D502 can output 510 4inx6in prints an hour in single mode and 190 in duplex operation.
